Aylus closes on $16m in financing
Aylus Networks announced the closing of an equity financing round of $16 million. London-based m8 Capital led the financing, with the participation of existing backers Matrix Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners, Aylus said.

iRobot gets $7.4m military order
Bedford’s iRobot Corp. said it has received a $7.4 million order from the US military for some of its small unmanned ground vehicles.

Mass. unemployment rate drops to 7.6%
The Massachusetts unemployment rate dropped to 7.6 percent in May, down from 7.8 percent in April, but the state’s employers cut 4,000 jobs last month, the state’s Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development said today.
