Mortgage modifications, auto-repair problems, and health and home insurance issues were among top consumer complaints in 2012, two state agencies said Monday.
Dunkin' Donuts unveils butter pecan-flavored joe for the discerning iced-coffee drinker
Not content with such garden-variety flavors as hazelnut and vanilla, Dunkin' Donuts is looking to push the envelope on the iced coffee flavor experience. The Canton-based retailer of coffee and baked-goods said in a press release that it is teaming up with sister chain Baskin-Robbins to marry caffeinated beverages with ice cream essences.
Massachusetts gas prices drop 4 cents a gallon, AAA says
The average price for gas in Massachusetts is $3.599 a gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, down 4 cents from the previous week's average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.

Eastern Bank said it is unveiling a new ad campaign with the theme of, "Here, you're first." The campaign includes five 30-second television commercials as well as ads on billboard and in newspapers and magazine. The campaign also has an online and mobile component.
Hadley’s Paul Kozub honored for vodka entrepreneurship in Vegas
Paul J. Kozub, a Hadley resident who looks to be to vodka what an uber chef is to highbrow cuisine, was selected as a winner of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award at the 2013 Nightclub & Bar Show held in Las Vegas. Kozub was cited for his work with his company, Valley Vodka Inc. The company markets a product called V-One Vodka.
Analog Devices CEO Jerry Fishman dies of apparent heart attack
Analog Devices Inc., the Norwood chipmaker, said Friday that chief executive Jerald G. Fishman died suddenly from an apparent heart attack yesterday evening. Fishman was 67 years old.
