Big Goya food donation includes Boston
Goya Foods Inc., a New Jersey food company, said today that it is donating a million pounds of food to help fight hunger in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Cabot to spend more than $180m on expansion
Specialty chemicals maker Cabot Corp. said today that it will spend more than $180 million to expand manufacturing capacity in Asia, South America and Europe to boost production of a compound used in tires.

Hub area prices rose 1.6 percent last year
The Consumer Price Index for the Boston metropolitan area rose 1.6 percent from 2009 to 2010 after a drop of 0.7 percent the year before, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics said today.
