Cigna employee seeks $100m in discrimination suit
A woman in the Boston office of Cigna Health Care Inc. is alleging that the health care provider systematically discriminates against women by fostering a hostile work environment and by denying women rightful salary increases in a class action lawsuit.

Mass. unemployment rate remains at 8.3 percent
The Massachusetts unemployment rate held steady in January at 8.3 percent, the same rate as in December, as the state's economy added 5,600 jobs, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development reported.

Sullivan Tire taps Genuine Interactive
Genuine Interactive said it has been selected as the digital marketing agency of record for Sullivan Tire, a Norwell-based chain of 53 retail locations, 15 commercial truck centers, and three retread manufacturing plants throughout New England.

TJX reports Feb. sales results
TJX Cos., the Framingham company that operates such retail chains as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods, said its same-store sales rose 3 percent in February when compared with the same period a year ago.

Survey: More families will vacation in 2011
Eighty-three percent of respondents plan to take at least one vacation with family members this year, up from 79 percent who did so in 2010, according to a new survey from TripAdvisor, the travel review website headquartered in Newton.

Jan. foreclosure activity falls in Mass.
Massachusetts foreclosure activity fell sharply in January, but the decline is more likely the result of lenders slowing down the foreclosure process rather than an improvement in economic conditions, the Warren Group said today.
