Apr. 05, 2012 Dyax officially marks the opening of its new Burlington headquartersDyax Corp., a biopharmaceutical company, officially marked the opening of its new corporate headquarters at Network Drive at Northwest Park in Burlington, the real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle said. Dyax was previously located at 300 Technology Square in Cambridge. In the lease transaction, Jones Lang LaSalle represented both Dyax and Nordblom Co., Dyax’s new landlord. Network Drive at Northwest Park is a campus of seven office buildings situated on 158 acres in Burlington. | |||
Pinnacle Airlines bankruptcy filing likely to have little impact on Logan AirportDelta Connection and United Express customers at Logan International Airport will likely see little immediate impact from the bankruptcy filing of Pinnacle Airlines Corp., which operates the regional services for the major carriers in Boston. Delta Air Lines has a total of 2,044 monthly departures from Logan. Of those, 685 are operated by Delta Connection carriers, which include Pinnacle, ASA, Comair, and Chautauqua, with 167 flown by Pinnacle. | |||
GlobalPost’s ‘On Location’ wins Peabody AwardGlobalPost, an international news website with headquarters in Boston, has won a prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for its “On Location” video series. The Peabody Awards honor the best work of electronic media, and for 2011, there were 38 winners. March roars for TJXTJX Cos., the Framingham company that operates such chains as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods, said Thursday that a key sales metric rose 10 percent for March when compared to the same month a year ago. TJX described that increase as “well-above-plan.” TJX added that it is raising its first-quarter guidance. It now expects first-quarter earnings per share to be in the range of $.51-$.52 versus the previous range of $.45-$.47. | |||

According to a new survey, it’s a virtual tie between The North Face and Ralph Lauren. The survey of 1,100 college students is from Campus Entertainment, a marketing firm with offices in Boston. According to the firm, The North Face was cited as the coolest brand by 43 percent of the survey’s respondents. Ralph Lauren was cited by 42 percent. The 30th anniversary 990 is the 10th version of this shoe; some earlier models have had style numbers other than 990, like the 993, the model preceding the newest shoe. Akamai Technologies CEO Paul Sagan earned $11.9 million in 2011, double 2010 tallyAkamai Technologies Inc. chief executive Paul Sagan's pay nearly doubled last year to $11.9 million, mostly because of increased stock awards, the Cambridge Internet firm reported Wednesday. Last year, Sagan received $9.8 million in restricted stock, more than triple the amount he received in 2010. The company said in a regulatory filing that it decided to issue shares to key members of its management team last year for retention purposes. Navy’s top officer checks out destroyer being built at Bath Iron Works in MaineBATH, Maine — The Navy’s top officer says the next-generation of destroyer now under construction at Maine’s Bath Iron Works is a ‘‘marvel of engineering.’’ Admiral Jonathan Greenert toured the shipyard Wednesday, viewing assembled hull segments of the future USS Zumwalt. He also participated in a ceremony marking the start of construction of the third and final warship in the line. The 600-foot-long warships are the largest destroyers to be built at Bath Iron Works. | |||
