Patrick signs economic development bill into law
Governor Deval L. Patrick has signed into law an economic development bill that seeks to promote job creation, streamline the state's economic development efforts, provide access to capital for small businesses, and create a sales tax holiday on Aug. 14 and 15, Patrick's administration said today.

Blue Cross Blue Shield agrees to limit rate hikes
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has agreed with state regulators to limit a proposed rate increase for individuals and small businesses to an average blended rate of about 8 percent, the administration of Governor Deval Patrick said this morning.

TJX reports July sales
TJX Cos., the Framingham company that operates such off-price retail chains as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and A.J. Wright, said its July sales were "in line with our expectations."

Robeez gets a co-branding
