Caprio moves to block RI deal with Schilling co.
Rhode Island Democratic gubernatorial candidate Frank Caprio is trying to block the state's $75 million loan guarantee to former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling's video game development company.

More than 1,200 foreclosures were recorded in Massachusetts in July, an increase of nearly 80 percent from July 2009, said the Warren Group, a Boston company that tracks local real estate activity and publishes Banker & Tradesman.

Staples will carry Amazon’s Kindle reader
Staples Inc., the Framingham-based office supply giant, said today that it plans to sell Kindle wireless readers at its stores in the fall.

More UFood Grills are planned for airports
UFood Restaurant Group Inc., a Boston company that focuses on restaurants that offer fare that's fast, casual, and healthful, said that it has signed an area development agreement that calls for additional UFood Grill units at five US airports.
