Feds clear Google to acquire travel software firm ITA
The US Justice Department said today that it will allow Internet search and advertising giant Google Inc. to acquire Cambridge travel software firm ITA Software Inc., but only under conditions intended to prevent Google from gaining too much power over the online travel industry.

Ex-EMC employee sentenced for equipment thefts
A North Carolina man who stole and resold nearly $1 million in equipment from Hopkinton data storage company EMC Corp. was sentenced today to 42 months in prison.

Verizon to donate $60,000 to Tufts University
The Verizon Foundation donated a $60,000 grant to the Tufts University�s Center for Engineering and Education Outreach.
