Massport chief Thomas Kinton to retire, collect $450k in sick leave
Thomas Kinton will announce his retirement today at this morning's meeting of the Massachusetts Port Authority, a move that will give the board time to find a successor and to allow Kinton to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars in unused sick time.

Genzyme 4Q profit soars on revenue growth, gains
Genzyme Corp., the Cambridge biotechnology company that has just agreed to be acquired by French drug maker Sanofi-Aventis SA, reported a big jump in fourth-quarter net income as products that have been rationed became more widely available.

LoJack reports 4Q profit
LoJack Corp., a Westwood company known for its vehicle recovery systems, reported fourth quarter net income of $2.8 million, or $0.15 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or $0.13 per share, in the fourth quarter of the prior year.

Cynosure narrows 4Q loss, as revenue climbs 16%
Cynosure Inc., the cosmetic treatment equipment maker, today reported a smaller loss for the fourth quarter, helped by growing revenue and a drop in operating expenses. Its shares rose 15 percent in afternoon trading.
